Luna, why do they call the Lunar Eclipse the blood moon? That’s a great question, I’m not even sure why. I guess it’s the unscientific name for a total lunar eclipse. This is when the Earth passes in between the sun and the moon. This will cast a shadow over the moon as sunlight is blocked. Whew, that’s just crazy!
Lunas’ only wish is not to be called the blood cat. That’s not a name she would like and who can blame her!
