I am definitely a country girl that loves to garden, quilt, preserve, hunt, and read. I love my family more than anything in the world. I live with my husband of fifty years. We have a son, daughter, granddaughter and grandson. We live on a 500+ acre farm in Virginia with about 75 cows & bulls, thirty chickens, and three dogs.

Reminds me of my kitty when he was still alive. He was too good to just sleep on the floor (like my chi's are now, lol) so he'd always find the oddest places to lay down his handsome little head.

Gosh, it seems that cats are comfortable in places where we would never dare to go!! I guess their balance is far superior! Is that a jewelry box?
