I am definitely a country girl that loves to garden, quilt, preserve, hunt, and read. I love my family more than anything in the world. I live with my husband of fifty years. We have a son, daughter, granddaughter and grandson. We live on a 500+ acre farm in Virginia with about 75 cows & bulls, thirty chickens, and three dogs.

Nice to have a taste of Spring! I went to a garden expo on the weekend too, but there weren't many mini-gardens on display, just in the lobby. The main room was the exhibitors' wares. Nice stuff, but I'd have liked to have seen more floral displays!

I'm not exactly a flower-dog so I'm just going to reply to your comment today. The double leash issue. Frankie is much bigger than I am so M makes her extension much shorter. Of course we didn't get it at first, but when we'd walk at a steady fast pace we'd get in the groove eventually. We kept improving that way. Of course, every now and then Frankie will still yank me hard. Glad you and your mother enjoyed the flower show :)Twinkie
