We have more leaves in August than ever before. I have no idea what is happening!! It’s been very warm and I’m just wondering if our leaves are dying off early but we do have rain and I live in New England so it’s not like it’s super hot although some people may beg to differ.

Tomorrow I will be out with the leaf blower again!  It is just a crazy amount of leaves to fall so early this year I hope that doesn’t mean we’re getting a lot of snow and I actually see acorns too!

These 3 amigos are resting in the nice cool kitchen where we have an air conditioner, we do not have air-conditioning in every room so the house does get hot! OK I said it hot!! If you look closely you’ll even see a leaf under the table!!

It’s all about Sven today! He’s almost two but still acts like a puppy! He loves to play ball, fetch and eat carrots. Another favorite pastime is to chase squirrels and birds and fortunately he never seems to catch them but he is good at catching frogs which we are relentlessly running around trying to get the frog out of his mouth! He’s also basically trained to stay in the yard now which is nice. Surprisingly enough he has a bedtime at 7 PM, he’s exhausted and he’ll let himself in his crate to sleep on his little pillow!

These cows belong to one of my horse borders. They are super sweet and they really don’t do too much but eat! The mother is Sweet Potato and the baby is French Fry! I think French Fry is about six months old now and I have to admit she’s a lot friendlier than her mom!

The goats are super friendly! You can’t see it but they’re eating Cheerios!

It’s been a minute and so much has happened but Sven is as cute as ever! He likes to sit on the cat counter! It’s not really a cat counter but that’s where my mother used to feed her cats so that’s what I always call it, a cat counter!

Sven is very entertaining and he is basically the best watch dog I have. He literally almost bit off a floor salesmen ankle the other day and I honestly think if I wasn’t in the room he might’ve done that.

We also have two new goats, Frick and Frack. I’ll post more about them later!

Hi Friends! I just noticed a rainbow in my picture. I didn’t see it when I took it!! So now is your chance to make a wish! This river is so pretty. I usually see ducks and geese but the other day, there was nothing visible.

This is the grass I put in last year and it did absolutely nothing and this year it’s nice and tall but only one came up and I think I planted for plants. It was probably because of all the rain we had.
