I took my Mother, her dog, Gypsy and Mr. Chips to the Blessing of the Pets today. Today is not only my Mother\’s birthday; it is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Many Catholic churches all over the country have Blessings of the Animals ceremonies and I just happen to find one in the next town! It was beautiful day and after the Priest read a prayer, he blessed each and every animal with Holy Water and there must have been at least fifty pets that went. Mr. Chips and Gypsy thinking about what they are doing!

5 ft Trans-Pecos Albino Rat Snake
One of my followers sent me this photo of his 5 foot trans-pecos albino rat snake..He doesn\’t have a name and he was asking if any any of you could come up with a good name! He is not slimy, he is more cold and scaly. He doesn\’t do much, just hangs around his little tree. He eats two baby rats every two weeks. YUCK!
If you can think of a name, please just leave me a comment! Thanks and don\’t forget to hug your pet!

Drabby to Fabby Friday!
Happy Friday, friends! Today is the day I decided to have some fun and join my bloggy friends over at Mad Boastings of a Cheapskate Mom and DiPaola Momma at Chicken Nuggets of Wisdom. They are having Drabby to Fabby Friday…The whole point is, to dress up at least once a week! So here I am, this is my Drabby picture, and I\’m hiding behind my pets! I am wearing my \”Save your A**\”Long Ear Rescue tee shirt, old jeans, all wrinkled, although Ariel insists on standing in front of me…I have on very little make up and for my hair, well, I change my hair style and color as much as I change my blog backgrounds!! This is my normal attire at home! Nice and comfortable and everyone seems to love me no matter what I look like, especially the pets! Here is my \”Fabby Photo\”…I put on makeup, fluffed up my hair, put on nice clothes and I am ready for the day! My sons friends thought I looked better dressed up, but my daughter thought I looked better in jeans. I took pictures of me in pants, I think they look baggy, I took pictures of me in a skirt…I didn\’t like that! My daughter wanted me to pose in some crazy fashion, but that didn\’t work…This is it friends! I have to say, I had a lot of fun. The day I took the Fabby picture, I wasn\’t looking too good and it did feel good to put on makeup and nice clothes!! So go figure…I hope you enjoy the pictures! I\’m wondering, is this an oh-So Fabulousness photo, or what?
It\'s October!
Mr. Chips…
