It’s all about turtles!

Hello Friends!

Today we had lots of snapping turtles in the yard. I’m not sure why but they are out and about. This one was a little bit still fisty! I had on big orange gloves and he still bit me, or tried to! So the next step was to use my horse manure pick!

He made it safely to pond!

Now on to the big boy…

This guy was definitely not happy.

This was not a good idea! Do not do this at home!! We ended up putting him in a shovel also and put him in the pond.

Safe and sound. Back in the pond and nobody lost any fingers!

  2. Ooooh, do not do that at home! I hear ya! We had a snapping turtle in our yard several years ago. Husband tried to pick it up–wrong thing to do! We wound up doing like you–picked him up with a shovel and took him across the street to the bayou.
