I am definitely a country girl that loves to garden, quilt, preserve, hunt, and read. I love my family more than anything in the world. I live with my husband of fifty years. We have a son, daughter, granddaughter and grandson. We live on a 500+ acre farm in Virginia with about 75 cows & bulls, thirty chickens, and three dogs.

Always fun to try something new, but you don't look too happy about it. Maybe Mom needs to take the little grandbiped along for the walk and let her do the swinging.Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

I just read of the loss of your beautiful Ariel at Roo's blog. I am so sorry for your loss and send you my deepest heartfelt condolences. I am sorry I did not know Ariel. I love the photos of her, she is beautiful. The photo of her at the Royal Wedding is great, and the photo of Buffy sleeping with her brought tears to my eyes. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.Peace,K and Suka
