I am definitely a country girl that loves to garden, quilt, preserve, hunt, and read. I love my family more than anything in the world. I live with my husband of fifty years. We have a son, daughter, granddaughter and grandson. We live on a 500+ acre farm in Virginia with about 75 cows & bulls, thirty chickens, and three dogs.

The farm looks like great fun. I wonder if Miss Buffy gets to enjoy it. I've tried ice skating in a pond like that last year and took a dip. A bit too cold for me. norwood

*Sigh* It looks wonderful. So much healthier, mentally and emotionally and spiritually, than commuting an hour to work each way and sitting at a desk all day….

The farm is beautiful, it would be a wonderful place to spend some time. Ducks don't seem to mind the cold water, I was taking so photos yesterday on some on a icy pond. That is a nice shot of the Muscovy duck, I rarely see them here.
