I am definitely a country girl that loves to garden, quilt, preserve, hunt, and read. I love my family more than anything in the world. I live with my husband of fifty years. We have a son, daughter, granddaughter and grandson. We live on a 500+ acre farm in Virginia with about 75 cows & bulls, thirty chickens, and three dogs.

Hi Deborah,Congrats on your Superior Scribbler award and Great post on the Sweet Friends!!! We are so glad to know you and your crew. We're expecting a signficant snow event in NC this weekend. The last big snow we had was in 2005. Very rare for us to get more than an inch. They are rumbling about 10-15\” . Oh good grief that just makes me sick to type that. We are well stocke with human and animal food…just hope the power stays on. Once it is over I'll get pictures.I hope you all have a good weekend,Madi and Mom

So happy to meet you! Thank you for your kind comment for for following my blog. I see you are quite the animal lover too. We have more than the 6 dogs though. We have 3 mice (babies on the way), a gerbil, bettas, and lots of aquarium fish. In the past we've had parakeets, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Some people think we're crazy. I just think God made us this way to love his creatures.
